Charles David McDaniel is essentially a self-taught artist whose early years were influenced by his recognition of the beauty of nature.
Love of wildlife inspired him to try to capture their natural beauty in his artwork. His career began actively in 1972, and has been shown nationally.
His work is displayed in the Texas Museum of Archery in
Numerous limited edition prints have been published throughout his career, and many sold through Ducks Unlimited.
He won the Wings Over the Prairie Poster competition sponsored by the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce in 2005. The Poster was used for the cover of their Chamber magazine.
His painting reflects his exacting commitment to have his subject matter take on a life of its own. His canvases and wood wildlife expressions draw the viewer into their rich detailed setting.
The painted subject makes a statement about his love of life and unique perception of detail.
