Ken Ironhorse

Ken “ Iron Horse ” says Art is fun; He loves to play with it. He is self-taught and learns by opportunity. His media is acrylics & wood combination, called 3D wood art on canvas or board. He has been painting about 40 years as a hobby. He has been selling his work for about 5 years. Ken paints from memory, a mental picture that he carries for two to three years before placing on canvas. Ken has a passion for nature and old buildings, nature is the most beautiful thing, the way everything grows life. Every tree is a brother and he honors them by painting them. Painting and woodwork are his love, so he captures the two together to give more interest to the painting and the wood. It creates a unique display. Iron Horse has traveled all over the U.S. and the 4 corners to capture the many images that he expresses in his work. Iron Horse Honors all things through his work with paint & wood or through prayer, most of all honoring the creator who created it all.
